The head of the team, Dr Martin Fleischmann, was recently awarded the Michael Breheny Prize for the most innovative paper in Environment and Planning B: Urban Analytics and City Science in 2022 for the paper Methodological foundation of a numerical taxonomy of urban form written together with Alessandra Feliciotti, Ombretta Romice and Sergio Porta. The paper is open access available online and was accompanied by interactive maps, data, and code.
